OUR GOAL AT SMOKE FIRE PROTECTION TECHNOLOGIES
SMOKE FIRE PROTECTION TECHNOLOGIES IS A STARTUP COMPANY AND HAS SECURED A PROVISIONAL PATENT FOR OUR sUAS SMALL UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEM / AUTONOMOUS DRONES FOR EARLY LOCATION DETECTION & EXTINGUISHING OF EARLY STAGE SMOLDERING SMOKE & EARLY STAGE FLAMING FIRES FOR INDOOR USE OF ALL HABITABLE STRUCTURES WHERE LOSS OF LIFE AND BURN INJURIES ARE HIGHEST. SFPT HAS SECURED FUNDING FOR THE PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT WITH AN ETA OF LATE FEBRUARY TO EARLY MARCH 2020. ADDITIONAL FUNDING WILL BE NEEDED ONCE WORKING PROTOTYPE IS COMPLETED FOR INVENTORY PRODUCTION AND INTERNET MARKETING TO PROVE THE MARKET. ONCE THE LAUNCH OF THESE LIFE SAVING DRONES TAKES PLACE LARGER TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES IN THE PUBLIC SAFETY PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT , MANUFACTURING AND MARKETING SPACE IN THE U.S. AND GLOBALLY WILL BE PARTNERED WITH TO HELP BRING THE BEST MOST ADVANCED sUAS / FIRE FIGHTING DRONES INTO 100'S OF MILLIONS OF HABITABLE STRUCTURES WORLDWIDE TO PROTECT AS MANY FAMILIES FROM THE DANGERS OF SMOLDERING SMOKE AND FIRE TO PREVENT AS MANY SEVERE BURN INJURIES AND FIRE RELATED DEATHS AS POSSIBLE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
FOR DECADES WILDFIRES HAVE BEEN FOUGHT USING AIRPLANES AND HELICOPTERS TO DROP WATER AND OR POWDER EXTINGUISHING AGENTS ONTO THE FIRES. MORE RECENTLY DRONES HAVE BEEN USED TO MONITOR WILDFIRES TO ASSESS FIRE GROWTH PATTERNS & HOT SPOTS TO BETTER GAUGE THREAT TO NEARBY COMMUNITIES, WIND DIRECTION & VELOCITY, LOCATE STRANDED CIVILIANS IN IMMEDIATE DANGER, VIEW ESCAPE ROUTES TO BETTER DEPLOY THE AERIAL PLAN OF ATTACK TO EXTINGUISH THESE WILDFIRES THAT HAVE BEEN DEVASTATING ENTIRE COMMUNITIES AT AN ALARMING RATE OVER RECENT YEARS. THE TIME HAS COME TO PROVIDE IN HOME FIRE PREVENTION DRONES THAT WILL PUT OUT HOME FIRES WITHIN 1 TO 2 MINUTES BEFORE THE EARLY STAGE SMOKE AND OR SMALL FLAMING CONDITION BECOMES A RAGING INFERNO !
THE SOLUTION TO LACK OF FIRE SPRINKLERS WORLDWIDE
Fire sprinklers have been kept out of homes in the U.S. since 1896 when a group of fire insurance companies established the NFPA - National Fire Protection Association so they could control fire codes which determined which type of fire prevention equipment was installed into which type of buildings. The fire insurance companies have made billions selling fire insurance by keeping fire sprinklers out of homes. They did the math and had the NFPA required fire sprinklers in homes fire insurance would cost very little. Their gross negligence, greed and unethical business practices has resulted in 100's of 1000's of burn injuries and fire deaths in the U.S. alone over the last 124 years. Smoke Fire Protection Technologies ultimate goal is to prevent as many burn injuries and fire related deaths as possible by extinguishing early stage smoldering smoke and or small flaming fires within the 1st minute or 2 of smoke alarms activating before a small smoldering smoke or small flaming fire becomes a raging inferno.
In 2009 California was the 1st State to pass legislation requiring fire sprinklers in all new homes and Maryland & D.C. soon followed with most all other States planning to pass mandatory fire sprinkler codes as well until the NAHB - National Association of Home Builders spent $500 M lobbying against mandatory fire sprinkler codes claiming some people would not be able to afford homes. The real reason was to protect their multi- billion dollar business of rebuilding homes that burn down each year in U.S. and the majority of politicians in all 48 other States voted against mandatory fire sprinklers and in some case vetoed the legislation already approved so they could use the $500 M to fund their reelection campaigns knowing many people will suffer severe burn injuries and many lives will continue to be lost every year. Burn Injuries cost approximately $10 billion a year to treat in the U.S. alone and are one of the most painful debilitating injures with substantial loss of income to both victims and the economy.
The solution is affordable in home fire prevention drones that do not require major retrofitting of sprinkler pipes throughout homes nationwide and globally and will not cause extensive water damage in the event of a fire as it takes very little extinguishing agent to put out a early stage smoldering smoke and or small flaming condition.

THE SOLUTION TO LACK OF EXTERIOR FIRE SPRINKLERS FOR HOMES IN RURAL AREAS WITH DANGER OF WILDFIRES
Exterior fire sprinklers have been used for a couple decades but like interior fire sprinklers very few have exterior fire sprinklers installed. Where homes that had sprinklers installed on their rooftops in Minnesota 188 homes with ext. sprinklers survived a wildfire and the 100 homes without burned down. Had the homes and businesses in Santa Rosa and Paradise CA area has exterior fire sprinklers installed
Posted on December 7, 2018 The Sprinklers Can Save Homes
The effectiveness of exterior fire sprinklers was proven during the 2007 wind-driven Ham Lake Fire in Cook County, Minnesota. In 2001, exterior sprinklers had been installed on 188 properties, including homes and a number of resorts. All 188 properties survived. More than 100 neighboring properties were destroyed.
Having had 2 recent major wildfires in California in Santa Rosa Napa Valley area and Paradise many homes and lives could of been saved with ext. fire sprinklers. I recently was told of a family in Paradise whose home survived due to having sprinklers installed which made their home to wet to burn.
In light of fire insurance companies raising fire insurance premiums to levels as high as 500% or more depending on location of homes and in some cases canceling policies completely for those living in rural foothill areas, SFPT - Smoke Fire Protection Technologies is currently doing more research into these life saving sprinklers and plans to add a sales division to provide exterior fire sprinklers for rural foothill properties starting in CA. We will be announcing news soon regarding this plan to bring as many ext. fire sprinklers onto as many rooftops as possible in the near future.

Cal DOI said that as of April 2019 insurance claims from the Camp, Hill and Woolsey Fires in November 2018 were already over $12 billion.
2017: In 2017, there were 71,499 wildfires, compared to 65,575 wildfires in 2016, according to the NIFC. About 10 million acres were burned in 2017, compared with 5.4 million in 2016. The number of acres burned in 2017 was higher than the 10-year average.
Beginning October 6 and continuing until October 25, eight counties in Northern California were hit by a devastating outbreak of wildfires which led to at least 23 fatalities, burned 245,000 acres and destroyed over 8,700 structures.
In December five major fires in Southern California destroyed more than a thousand homes and buildings. One of the fires, the Thomas Fire, became the largest wildfire ever recorded in California up to 2017. In 2018 the Mendocino Complex Fire grew to surpass the acreage burned in the Thomas Fire. Loss estimates are not yet available from the Property Claims Services (PCS) unit of ISO. The Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.) estimates that insured losses from the Tubbs Fire totaled between $7.5 billion and $9.7 billion in dollars when it occurred. The Atlas Fire resulted in insured losses of $2.5 billion to $4.5 billion and the Thomas Fire resulted in insured losses of $1.5 billion to $3.5 billion, according to the I.I.I. The blazes were the costliest wildfires in the United States up to 2017. Cal DOI reported in January 2018 that insurance claims payouts from the October to December fires added up to almost $12 billion, which made the 2017 fire season the costliest on record; however preliminary estimates for 2018 indicate that it most likely surpassed the 2017 record.

ABOUT SMOKE FIRE PROTECTION TECHNOLOGIES
My name is Dennis Fox President & CEO of Smoke Fire Protection Technologies and Founder of our parent site smokealarmsafety.org . Having been born in San Francisco CA which burned to the ground due to the fire started by 1906 earth quake, I became intrigued with fire at an early age. My 1st real life experience with how quickly fire grows came at the age of 10 when my friend and I were playing with matches in back of our school and one of the matches caught some dry weeds on fire and our 1st reaction was to run but instead we were able to smother the fire out with some broken concrete blocks near by.
In 1978 I majored in fire science in College to become a fireman but due to a back injury working my way thru school my career ended before it began and I went to work for a fire extinguisher company right out of College. In 1997 I went to work for Protection One and then a year later for ADT the largest alarm company in the world and sold more smoke alarms as an add on to burglar alarms than all other sales reps in my office combined. It was not till 2015 as I was updating my fire statistics I came across some startling information about the dangers of ionization smoke detectors that do not activate in time to wake people up in smoldering smoke conditions. Like most people, I came to find out, I had never heard of an ionization alarm let alone a smoke alarm that did not activate in smoldering smoke conditions in time to wake people up. I only knew of photoelectric alarms which all reputable security companies install due to the fact their monitoring stations would be flooded with calls whenever people over cooked something and ethically, did not want be responsible for their customers being killed and injured, then sued like the manufactures of ionization alarms. Within a week of learning about this consumer fraud I became part of a group of Fire Protection Engineers and Fire Chiefs that had been trying to ban these dangerous devices for decades and launched smokealarmsafety.org soon afterward.
More recently I came up with idea of using in home early stage smoke & fire extinguishing drones and Smoke Fire Protection Technologies was born. The information on both these sites will change fire prevention for the better and save millions of lives and prevent many more burn injuries and smoke inhalation deaths in the near future,
The ionization technology alarms in most homes will not wake your family up in time ! Interconnected Photoelectric or combo Photoelectric with a heat sensor or Photoelectric with C0 sensor offer superior protection than the ionization alarms warned about in video and monitored photoelectric / combo smoke alarms provide best protection for your family & pets !
Smoke Fire Protection Technologies goal is to place early stage smoke & fire detection and extinguishing drones into the as many homes and other habitable structures possible to prevent severe burn injuries and loss of life by extinguishing the early stage smoldering smoke and or small flaming fire within 1 to 2 minutes of smoke alarms activating. Millions of severe burn injuries will be prevented and lives will be saved over time and billions of dollars saved in property damage yearly !
Coming soon will be drones currently under development that are able to reach much higher than fire ladders and be able to airlift people off of roof tops and balconies that fire ladders are unable to reach and from remote hard to reach locations during wildfires.
Currently drones are being used to monitor wildfire hot spots and structural fires to help fire fighters quickly determine best plan of extinguishing fires. Smoke Fire Protection Technologies will bring sUAS - Small Unmanned Aerial Systems / Autonomous fire fighting drones into homes, condos, apartments and all other habitable dwellings where loss of life and burn injuries are the highest. Billions of lives can be made much safer and millions of burn injuries and deaths prevented.
Burns are a global public health problem, accounting for an estimated 180 000 deaths annually. ... Burns are among the leading causes of disability-adjusted life-years (DALYs) lost in low- and middle-income countries. In 2004, nearly 11 million people worldwide were burned severely enough to require medical attention.Mar 6, 2018
